Get to know your kankrelat

Description

This is the first installment of the lyoko monsters that X.A.N.A. has sent to the real world during the attack.
The Kankrelat is the smallest monster. They are fairly unintelligent and are not terribly strong. When reproducing, they lay small hatchings that have self-replicating bio-mechanical cells. Meat and skin quickly grow over the head. The eye is it's weakest point, striking this will instantly cause the creature to destruct. The Kankrelat can move fairly fast, and tend to travel in groups of 5-7. They can also extend their bodies several feet, but only when trying to intimidate enemies. Although, when extended, they are extremely clumsy and cannot move without falling over. The only real danger of the Kankrelat, like most Lyoko monsters, is it's laser. It can send a red beam of laser from its front. This laser is not as strong as most other enemies, but is strong enough to stun a body part, or, if it strikes the face or head, can rarely knock a human being unconscious. They are roughly 1 ft in size (sometimes varies).
It is advised to try staying behind them as a defense, they cannot see from behind as some others can. quickly strike the eye with anything strong enough to pierce it. One's main defense is agility when it comes to combat with Kankrelats. Remember that alone, they are fairly weak, but in groups can be overwhelming.
I hope you like my first CL redesign :D

These guys were one of my favorite monsters for the simple fact they were the underdogs of XANA. They had moments that made me laugh, moments where they were actually a challenge, and moments where they were a legitimate threat. The latter especially when they were materialized into the real world.
